The Turkey national basketball team (Turkish: Türkiye Millî Basketbol Takımı) is one of the most successful Basketball team in FIBA world cup. Turkish Basketball Federation is managing Turkey national basketball team. Turkey is a favorite team in every major international basketball tournament.
Till now Turkey national basketball team won two silver medals at the EuroBasket (2001), and FIBA World Cup (2010). They also won 2 gold (1987, 2013), one silver (1971), and three bronze (1967, 1983, 2009) until now.
Turkey Basketball team is in the Group E of Fiba 2019 Championship in which total 6 matches is to be played & 3 matches will be played by each team in the group stages. The other 3 teams are Czech Republic, Japan and USA.

Turkey Basketball Team History
Turkey has 17th rank in FIBA World Rankings. Turkey played their first match against Greece, winning 49–12. Turkey won the gold medal at the 1981 Balkan Championship. They won the silver medal at EuroBasket 2001, and the 2010 FIBA World Cup.
Turkey at the EuroBasket 1957 in Sofia. Turkey defeated each of the other seven teams in the classification round. Also, Turkey also won the gold medal at the Balkan Championship.
