The Poland national basketball team also known as Polska Basketball team is the official team FIBA team that is controlled by the Polish Basketball Association. The team has a very old history. They have some strongest players. They have reached European Basketball Championship so many times. They won their first medal in 1963.

The national team have qualified for the Summer Olympics 6. In 1967 tournament, they entered in the FIBA World Cup tournament. In 2019 they qualified for the FIBA World Cup for the first time in 52 years.

Poland Basketball Team History

Poland national basketball team started their career in 1936. They come to fourth place. In EuroBasket 1937, they were defeated by champion Lithuanian and won the bronze medal.

The 1967 World Cup was the first time when the national team is going to play on the global platform. The national team qualified for every EuroBasket tournament after 2009.

1936, 1964, and 1968 Olympic Games were the best platform for Poland Basketball Team. In 2019 the national team have qualified for the World Cup. So let’s see who will win and who will win gold.
